Performance enhanced and provides additional padding over the wither area that will adjust the position of a saddle that tips. It is used to balance a saddle that would otherwise incline to the fore.
Cavallo's Tri-Density Solution, combined with fine finishing details including genuine leather butt joints, nylon bindings and aeration perforations, provides the ultimate in saddle pads – benefiting both horse and rider. Tri-Density Solution absorbs shock and concussion from both horse and rider – saving both backs. This Total Comfort System saddle pad features 3 layers: shock-absorbing, closed-cell high-density foam, slow-release open-cell memory foam, and 100% New Zealand Merino Wool. The 3 material densities create a thinner pad with greater shock absorption than a pad twice as thick. Allows more room for free movement of the scapula. Improves saddle fit. Features firm poly fiber sheets inserted alongside the protective memory foam to provide the perfect fit between horse and rider. Contracts at pressure points and fills gaps. Enhances the saddle gullet (protecting spine). Cutback allows wither relief. Allows one saddle to be used on multiple horses and compensates for changes in a horse's back over its lifetime.
Reversible, effective and stylish – New Zealand wool on one side, closed cell shock absorbing foam on the other. Use either side against horse.
Far superior to traditional foams, Cavallo's patented Nitrex Closed-Cell foam is non-PVC foam that has low resilience and low penetration value, resulting in excellent shock absorption, insulation, cushioning and rebound. Foam is soft and lightweight, and water-absorption-free. Open-cell memory foam enhances saddle fit by releasing as rider shifts weight to vary pressure and gently massage muscles, promoting healthy circulation. Evenly distributes rider and saddle weight on muscles.
