Kills and repels fleas and ticks, including deer, American dog, brown dog and Lone Star ticks. Kills fleas within 24 hours and prevents tick infestation within 48 hours of initial application. Kills and repels fleas before they lay eggs and aids in control of flea larvae in dog's surroundings following contact with a Seresto-treated dog. Kills fleas that may vector tapeworm infections, bartonellis, and rickettsiosis. Kills chewing lice and aids in treatment and control of sarcoptic mange.

Two active ingredients – 4.5% flumethrin and 10% imidacloprid – work together to provide dual action against fleas and ticks. The active ingredients spread from the site of direct contact over the skin surface of the dog. As active ingredients wear off over time, a new supply is continuously replenished in low concentrations.

Water-resistant and remains effective following shampoo treatment, swimming, or after exposure to rain or sunlight. Non-greasy and odorless.

Small Dog size features safety-release mechanism, in the unlikely event of a dog being trapped, the dog's own strength is sufficient to widen the collar to allow for quick release.
