Description
Killed virus vaccine for use in healthy breeding cattle as an aid in the prevention of disease caused by IBR and BVD Types 1 and 2, Vibrio (Campylobacter fetus) and the 5 most common strains of Lepto. ViraShield 4+VL5 HB is also for use in calves vaccinated at 4 weeks of age or older, as an aid in the prevention of hardjo-bovis kidney colonization, and as an aid in preventing urinary shedding and reproductive tract infection for 12 months. For use in all classes of cattle, even pregnant cows and calves nursing pregnant cows. Vaccinate dairy cows during the dry off period. Features Xtend SP adjuvant.
Directions: 5 ml subcutaneously 2-4 weeks prior to breeding, revaccinate in 4-5 weeks. Revaccinate annually. Milk reduction and transient depression may be observed in lactating dairy cows for 3-6 days following vaccination with Vira Shield 4+VL5 HB. 60 day slaughter withdrawal.
Anaphylactoid reactions may occur. Antidote: Epinephrine.
