TheraCaf Plus Supplement for Calves

Balanced electrolyte supplement with added functional proteins and yeast extract formulated for use during times of stress (transport, weather, sickness). Added ingredients MOS and plasma help reduce scour episodes and severity and support intestinal health. Ideal blend of electrolytes, dextrose and glycine supports rapid absorption of fluid and electrolytes. Dextrose and glycine provide readily absorbable energy. Sodium bicarbonate, sodium citrate, sodium acetate and potassium citrate help to optimize blood pH (metabolic acidosis is associated with dehydration). The benefits of a comprehensive calf care program can result in more productive and profitable livestock.

Contains min 20% crude protein, min 4% glycine, min 4%/max 5% salt, min 4.5%/max 5.5% sodium, min 1.5% potassium and min 0.04% magnesium.

Directions: Mix 4 oz into 2 quarts warm water. For newly-arrived calves, feed twice daily, for three consecutive days. For scouring calves, feed 1-3 times daily depending on scours severity and degree of dehydration. Continue feeding until resolution of symptoms. Continue to feed milk replacer or whole milk. Offer fresh water at all times.
