Description
Formulated to help support normal glucose metabolism, promote balanced behavior and maintain relaxation in horses. Supplementing magnesium, especially for horses in a competitive lifestyle, may help support normal muscle function and help with tight sore muscles. Also ideal for nervous or tense horses that show an inability to learn and concentrate, or horses with nerve conditions. Chromium has been shown to improve glucose clearance by supporting insulin sensitivity. Together these two minerals support glucose uptake by the cell and a normal metabolic rate. Can aid horses and ponies that are cresty-necked and insulin resistant by helping to maintain blood glucose levels within normal ranges and assist the body with normal clearance of glucose.
Each 1 oz serving contains 8 gm proprietary blend of magnesium oxide and magnesium proteinate and 0.65 mg chromium propionate.
Directions: 1 oz per 250 lbs body weight daily. Magnesium should not be given to horses with impaired kidney function or those with restricted water intakes. Chromium should not be given to horses with PSSM/EPSM.
1 oz scoop enclosed. 3.5 lbs = 28 day supply at 1/2 oz level.
