Description
Recommended for use in calves with dehydration from stress and diarrhea, or when calf may need electrolytes, energy and rehydration. The most critical step towards recovery for a calf suffering from diarrhea and severe dehydration is timely rehydration with a quality electrolyte that will help re-balance its physiological pH to a normal range. Formulated to meet latest recommendations by leading calf rehydration experts. Many electrolyte products absorb moisture from air, causing them to become solid and difficult to use in proper dosages. Disposable, single-dose Perfect Udder bag is ready when needed. No wasted time, no cleanup.
Contains min 5%/max 6% salt, min 5.5%/max 6.5% sodium, min 4.5% chloride, min 1.5% potassium, min 0.1% phosphorus, min 0.1% magnesium and 30 million CFU/gm bacillus subtilus.
Directions: Fill with warm water; shake to dissolve electrolyte; feed calf all contents upon arrival or as soon as possible after first indication that calf requires supplemental electrolytes and energy. Continue to feed milk or milk replacer if calf will readily consume it. 100 gm bag includes disposable esophageal feed tube; 12-pack includes nipple and 12 feed tubes. Nipple Assembly’s removable adapter ring allows for complete cleaning access.
