Description
Protects against and repels mosquitoes, ticks, ants, flies, chiggers and midges. Innovative in the horse and fly mask category. Provides built-in, invisible, odorless insect protection. Comfortable design keeps the mask off the face and away from horse's eyes. Protects exposed areas around the mask, including muzzle and ears. Designed for secure fit with strong Clear View Vision mesh.
Features Insect Shield® Repellent Technology, which was originally developed in the 1990's in conjunction with the US Army and then used in the first EPA insect repellent apparel in 2003. The process binds a proprietary permethrin formula tightly to the fabric fiber. Technology lasts the expected lifetime of the mask (25 washings). Insect Shield received a Category IV rating, the most favorable rating given by the EPA. It requires no re-application and there is no potential for over-use.
Horse size fits 900-1,200 lbs; XL size fits 1,100-1,500 lbs (on average).
