Description
An ideal ketosis test for use on fresh cows every 2-3 weeks after calving. Convenient, effective and easy-to-use milk strip test determines if individual cows or herds are experiencing elevated ketone levels. Measures level of beta-hydroxybutyrate (BHBA) in milk to help identify subclinical ketosis.
Dip test strip into milk sample for 3 seconds, read test strip after 1 minute and compare to color chart on the bottle. Color change indicates severity, purple = positive.
