Contains min 18% fat, min 12.5% protein, max 4% fatty acids, max 13% crude fiber, min 1.75%/max 2.25% calcium and min 1.75% phosphorus.

Directions: Feed 1-2 lbs per day with current feeding program.

The fat found in rice bran is an extraordinary source of dietary energy. In fact, fat contains more than two times the energy that carbohydrates and proteins do, thereby fueling horses more efficiently. Fat is considered a "cool" feedstuff because it does not cause the hormone spikes that lead to excitability. Adding stabilized rice bran to a horse's diet allows one to decrease the amount of starchy concentrates (grains) fed, reducing the risk of colic and laminitis resulting from grain overload.
