Description
Antibiotic-free oral paste may aid in controlling bacterial diarrhea caused by foal stress, diet changes (grain overload), environmental changes and secondary stress such as antibiotic use. Dia Gel Equine eliminates bacteria such as E. coli and Salmonella, which occur naturally in the GI tract. Great for use before stressful events such as racing, showing, trailering, stabling or foaling. May be used with fluid and endotoxin therapies, and antibiotics. May be used for horses of all ages, especially newborn foals.
Contains 3.5 mg sesquiterpenoid, plus 51 mg of special blend of carvacrol, cinnameldahyde, eugenol and thymol.
Directions: Newborn-120 lbs - 10 ml; 121-250 lbs - 15 ml; 251-500 lbs - 20 ml; 501+ lbs - 30 ml; if necessary, repeat dosage every 6 hours for up to 3 days. Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been proven. Patented.
