Description
Provides optimal performance and nutrition for newborn dairy and beef calves. Not only provides healthy fat and protein but is also fortified with vitamins and minerals essential to the newborn calf during the first 24 hours of life. High quality protein for a strong start. Source of globulin protein. Easy-to-mix formula stays in suspension.
Contains min 45% crude protein, min 15% crude fat, max 0.1% crude fiber, max 9% ash, min 0.75%/max 1.25% calcium, min 0.7% phosphorus, min 0.3 ppm selenium, min 30,000 IU/lb vitamin A, min 5,000 IU/lb vitamin D, min 100 IU/lb vitamin E, min 18% albumin protein and 50 gm/lb globulin protein.
Directions: add 1 lb to 2 quarts warm (110°F) water and mix thoroughly. Bottle-feed solution as soon as possible following birth. Tube feed if necessary and make sure that calf consumes all of solution. Calves that received no maternal colostrum should be given a second Colostro-Fix feeding 8 hours after the first feeding. Begin feeding calf milk replacer on day 2.
