Description
Lightweight castrator provides fast, effective, bloodless, humane castration of newborn livestock. Applies high tension to Wee Loops, which instantly stops all blood flow for complete ligation while providing minimal discomfort to the animal. Requires no manual cutting or crimping. Constructed of surgical-quality, corrosion-resistant stainless steel. May also be used for horn removal and tail docking.
Research at the University of California-Davis showed high tension banding generated a more localized immune response with no discernable depression in appetite or rate of gain when used on young bulls.
Includes 5 Wee Loops, loop stretcher and instructions. Patented.
Replacement Wee Loops also available; are easy-to-apply and ensure consistent results every time (sold separately).
