Description
Screened bottom board is made of durable pine. Most important tool when it comes to pest management in beekeeping. Helps reduce mites, improve ventilation in the hive and may increase brood production. Plastic corrugated mite grid (included) and screened board passively control and monitor mite levels, and accurately measure number of mites present in the hive.
Solid bottom board is made of 1/2" exterior plywood construction with tongue and groove white pine rails. Used as an alternative to screened bottom boards. Makes a durable, stable base for hives. Comes with plastic corrugated mite board.
