Description
Designed to keep Staph Aureus at bay. Easy-to-read, color-coded results help differentiate new staph infections from chronic cows. Results in 16 hours. Each package contains 4 quad-plates that can test 4 different samples.
Directions: Obtain a sample from the affected quarter. Streak milk onto the plate and incubate for 16 hours. For everything needed to get started, recommended to buy gloves, cotton swabs and sample vials (sold separately).
FERA On-Farm Mastitis Diagnostic Kits will be shipped in an insulated container. Upon receipt, refrigerate package; keep refrigerated after opening. Media should not be used if there are any signs of deterioration (shrinking, cracking or discoloration), contamination, or if the expiration date has passed. Product is light and temperature sensitive; protect from light, excessive heat, moisture and freezing.
