Description

Diagnoses all treatable mastitis pathogens in just 16 hours, making selective therapy a reality, significantly reducing the cost of mastitis and improving cure rates, overall cow health and profitability. Can accurately detect the following bacteria: E. coli, Klebsiella, Enterobacter,
Pseudomonas, Serratia, S. uberis, Streptococcus spp., Enterococcus, Lactococcus, Staphylococcus spp. and Staphylococcus aureus. Each package contains 4 tri-plates.
Directions: Obtain a sample from the affected quarter. Streak milk onto the plate and incubate for 16 hours. Wait to treat cows according to results without negativity affecting cure rates.For everything needed to get started, recommended to buy gloves, cotton swabs and sample vials (sold separately).

Media should not be used if there are any signs of deterioration (shrinking, cracking or discoloration), contamination, or if the expiration date has passed. Product is light and temperature sensitive; protect from light, excessive heat, moisture and freezing.
