Instant milk replacer with CitriStim® for baby lambs and goat kids. Formulated by experienced shepherds and veterinarians for their own sheep and goat flocks, using skim milk as the first ingredient. Mixes well in bottles, buckets, and automatic milking machines. Medicated for controlling coccidiosis. Do not feed to lactating livestock that are producing food for human consumption. 4oz measuring cup included.
Contains min 24% crude protein, min 30% crude fat, max 0.15% crude fiber, max 6.5% ash, 0.80%min/1.00% max calcium, min 0.65% phosphorus, max0.3ppm selenium, min 30,000 IU/lb Vitamin A, min 5,000 IU/lb Vitamin D3, min 150 IU/lb Vitamin E
Directions: Lambs- Mix 4 oz. of dry powder with 1 pint (16 oz.) of water. Goat Kids- Mix 4 oz. of dry powder with 1-1/2 pints (24 oz.) of water. Thoroughly mix until dry powder has been dissolved into a smooth solution. Dry powder should be weighed to determine recommended amount. For best mixability, whisk powder with hot water (125°-135°F). Do not exceed 140°F. If the water is too hot you will damage the milk proteins (Maillard chemical reaction), which are essential to lamb and goat kid performance. Hand feeding -For newborns, feed smaller amounts more frequently (up to 6 times per day). Gradually reduce the number of feedings as the animal gets older. Allow milk to cool to 100°F (or less) before feeding. Free choice - feed at 40°F to prevent overconsumption.
