Overview
Antibacterial medication formulated to control and treat tanks with fish that have infected eyes, fin or tail rot, skin ulcerations, Pop-Eye, Columnaris Disease and gill disease. Works against gram-positive and some gram-negative bacteria – including Aeromonas, Pseudomonas and Mycobacteria – by using bactericidal action while additionally controlling some parasitic diseases.
Contains 500 mg metronidazole.
Directions: 1 tablet per 10 gallons of water. Treatment in a hospital tank is recommended. Treat every other day for a full 5 days; minimum of 3 treatments is recommended. Repeat if necessary. To avoid stress to fish, use continuous filtration but remove carbon filter since it will remove antibiotic from water.
