Overview
E. coli bacterin recommended for use in healthy dairy cattle as an aid in the reduction of shedding of E. coli in the milk due to mastitis.
Requires 3 doses. Administer each 5 ml dose subcut, one hand-width cranial to the shoulder. Vaccinate cows or heifers at 7 and 8 months of gestation followed by the 3rd dose within 2 weeks postpartum. 60 day slaughter withdrawal.
Anaphylactoid reactions may occur. Antidote : Epinephrine.
