Overview
For treatment and control of gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms (adult and fourth-stage larvae), eyeworms (adult), grubs (parasitic stages), biting and sucking lice, mange mites, and horn flies. For use in dairy replacement heifers less than 20 months of age and most ages or classes of beef cattle, including calves and pregnant beef cows.
Has been proved to effectively control infections and protect cattle from reinfection with: Cooperia oncophora, Dictyocaulus viviparus, Ostertagia ostertagi and Oesophagostomum radiatum for 28 days after treatment; Cooperia punctata and Haemonchus placei for 35 days after treatment.; Linognathus vituli for 42 days after treatment; and Bovicola (Damalinia) bovis for 77 days after treatment.
Contains 5 mg doramectin per ml.
>Dosage: 50 ml per 1,100 lbs body weight applied along the midline of the back from shoulder to tailhead. Slaughter withdrawal: 45 days. Do not use in calves to be processed for veal. 1 liter treats 40 - 550 lb cattle, 2.5 liters treats 100 - 550 lb cattle, 5 liters treats 200 - 550 lb cattle.
Pour-On Gun for use with 2.5 liter and 5 liter sizes of Dectomax sold separately.
Additional Hazardous Surcharge required on 2.5 and 5 liter sizes. Can purchase up to one case per hazardous surcharge.
