Overview
For vaccination of healthy susceptible cattle and swine of all ages as an aid in the reduction of the 5 most common strains of lepto – L. borgpetersenii serovar hardjo (type hardjo-bovis), L. pomona, L. grippotyphosa, L. canicola and L. icterohaemorrhagiae, and for the prevention of urinary shedding of L. hardjo in cattle. L. hardjo is the serovar primarily responsible for chronic infections. Vaccinated animals subsequently exposed to L. borgpetersenii serovar hardjo (type hardjo-bovis) have been shown to clear renal infections within 8 weeks of exposure.

Dosage: Cattle – 2 ml subcut or IM; Swine – 2 ml IM. Repeat in 3-6 weeks. Revaccinate annually or prior to each breeding. 21 day slaughter withdrawal.

Anaphylactoid reactions may occur. Antidote : Epinephrine.
