Durvet opened for business in 1970 in a tiny 500 square foot rented facility. Durvet was the first entity in the OTC animal health market to be involved with both manufacturing and distribution, and this vision proved to be the model for the animal health supply chain business.

Over the years, Durvet has diversified its inventory with equine care and pet health lines. In 2004, it expanded its facilities in Blue Springs, Missouri and currently operates from a 78,000 square foot warehouse with state-of-the-art logistics and distribution technology.

One thing remains the same: The commitment to being your premier supplier of high quality animal health care products. Our mission is best described by what we do best – ensure our products and services result in Healthy Animals, Healthy Savings and Healthy Value for our distributors and customers. Over the years, we have accomplished this mission by operating efficiently to keep prices low while aiming for higher standards of service every year.
