Modified-live virus and bacterin combination for vaccination of healthy cattle prior to breeding to prevent persistently infected calves caused by BVD Types 1 & 2; to aid in preventing abortion caused by IBR; respiratory disease caused by IBR, BVD Types 1 & 2, PI3 and BRSV; BVD Type 2 testicular infection; campylobacteriosis (vibriosis) caused by Campylobacter fetus (Vibrio) and the 5 most common strains of Lepto.
Dosage: 2 ml IM to all breeding cows and heifers about 1 month prior to breeding or being added to herd. Revaccinate with Vibrio/Lepto vaccine in 3-4 weeks. Revaccinate annually. Do not use Bovi-Shield GOLD FP 5 VL5 in pregnant cows or calves nursing pregnant cows, unless they were previously vaccinated as described above. 21 day slaughter withdrawal.
Anaphylactoid reactions may occur. Antidote: Epinephrine.
