Overview
Unique, synergistic combination of penicillin and novobiocin sodium provides reliable therapy for subclinical mastitis at the start of the dry period for dairy cows. Indicated for intramammary infusion in treatment of subclinical mastitis caused by susceptible strains of Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus agalactiae.
Each 10 ml syringe contains 400 mg novobiocin sodium and 200,000 IU penicillin G procaine.
Directions: Administer one 10 ml syringe per quarter after the final milking before dry off, following the aseptic delivery method described on the product label.
72 hour milk withholding; 30 day slaughter withdrawal. Not to be used within 30 days of calving.
