Overview
Oral rehydration therapy for young calves, pigs, foals, lambs, kids, llamas and alpacas suffering from conditions associated with scouring. Helps rapidly restore lost fluids. Contains ProVance® Microbials to support gut health. Gelling agent slows fluid loss.
Contains min 3.5/max 4.5% salt, min 1.8%/max 2.3% sodium, min 0.05% magnesium, min 0.5% potassium, min 0.4 ppm copper, min 1.5 ppm zinc, min 33% dextrose, min 13 billion CFU per 100 gm total lactic acid bacteria and min 7 billion CFU per 100 gm yeast.
Solution preparation: Mix 3 scoops into 2 quarts warm water.
Directions: Feed at first sign of requiring supplemental energy, nutrients and electrolytes.
Calves/Foals - Feed after milk replacer feeding twice daily (10-12 hour intervals) according to schedule on package. Excessively stressed calves and foals may require 1 or 2 additional feedings of Arrest per day. Feed foals from open pail or with tube. Feed calves from open pail or nipple; feed Arrest 15-30 minutes after feeding milk replacer; any Arrest not voluntarily consumed within 15 minutes should be given by esophageal feeder; provide water free choice.
Pigs - Use syringe with small plastic tube or dose bottle/pump. Baby pigs still with sow should be group-fed mixed Arrest ad-lib for 24-48 hours using suitable feeder. Weaned pigs should be fed mixed Arrest ad-lib for 12 hours and have limited access to normal water source during this period.
Lambs/Kids - Feed mixed product in bottle or through normal feeders or tube. See label for dosages.
