Each insert has two sharpened edges that can be rotated. Includes interchangeable inserts/blades. Averages 100 animals before blades become dull. Blades can be sharpened 3-4 times before replacing. The 4-Slot Disc is more aggressive than the 6-Slot, giving a deeper cut of the hoof. Can also be used for log shaping and wood carving. Replacement blades sold separately.
