When will my order be shipped?

Most orders received Monday through Friday are shipped that day from our warehouse in Massillon, Ohio. Prescription items may require additional processing time. Please allow extra time for items drop-shipped from the manufacturer. For vaccine shipping information see How are vaccines shipped?.

Free shipping does not include the following items and charges:

Do you ship products outside of the United States?

We are a domestic distributor of animal health products. We are not able to export at this time, however, we would be glad to ship to a destination within the United States. You can then make arrangements to have your orders forwarded to you by this third party. If you have such a contact in the United States, we would be glad to send our catalog to that address. How is Sales Tax calculated?

PBS Animal Health charges sales tax only on orders shipped to Ohio, where residents will be charged sales tax of 6.50%. If state sales tax rates change, we will charge accordingly.

When can I expect to receive my order? (Time In-Transit)

The time in-transit of UPS Ground is based on your delivery address distance from our Massillon, Ohio warehouse. The UPS TIME IN-TRANSIT MAP will give you an estimate of your order’s time in-transit. Please note, UPS Ground delivers Monday through Friday. UPS Air Saturday delivery (where available) is an additional charge. Holidays are not included as a delivery day. How are Vaccines shipped?

Due to circumstances beyond our control and ever-changing weather conditions, we require vaccines to be shipped in an insulated container year-round. This insulated container helps protect your vaccines from freezing during the winter months and getting too warm during the non-winter months. Frozen cold packs are included in your insulated container. Don't be alarmed if frozen cold packs are thawed when you receive your shipment; this is normal. Simply refrigerate your vaccines as soon as they arrive. Vaccines and other items requiring refrigeration are non-returnable.

A $3.75 charge will be added to all vaccine orders for the insulated container/frozen cold packs. Additional frozen cold packs can be added to your vaccine order for $1.00. Please specify when ordering.
We recommend ordering vaccines as early in the week as possible to assure delivery by Friday* Please see the UPS Estimated Time In-Transit Map to help estimate the number of days needed to receive your vaccine order.

How do I find a product on the website that is in the catalog?

There are 3 easy ways to search and find a product on our website. The easiest way to find a specific product is via the search box located towards the upper left corner of the website. Here you can enter the product name, item number, or keyword to find what you're looking for.

If you're looking for a product made by a certain company, you may choose to use our second search box which gives you a choice of vendors. Just click on the dropdown arrow at the right side of the search box and an alphabetical list of vendor names will appear.

You can also use our category menus listed just below the search boxes on the left side of the website. These menus can be utilized by clicking on major or sub categories of products.

What is the Catalog Quick Order?

This is the quickest way to order a product from the catalog. The "Catalog Quick Order" link is located in the upper right-hand corner of the website. When you click on this link, a page will appear where you can enter the product number and quantity desired into a grid-like form. These items will be added to your shopping cart without the need to search for each product. If a product added via the quick order feature does not appear in the shopping cart, it may be due to an error in the product number or the product may be out of stock or discontinued.

No, you do not have to create an account to order from this website. Can I ship my order to multiple destinations?

Yes, certainly. You may ship to one destination or more, as you prefer. Each shipment destination will be processed as an order and appropriate FOB rates and shipping rates apply (according to each destination).

Do you sell veterinary prescriptions?

Yes. We sell many of the most common prescription animal health drugs.

To order, you must do the following:

1. Send us the original written prescription from your veterinarian complete with his/her license number & phone number. This prescription must clearly indicate the product, the amount and the number of refills authorized, if any.
2. Then place your order for the product(s) prescribed either by phone or mail and indicate on the order or the phone whether your veterinarian has sent in a prescription. No prescription orders will be shipped until our pharmacist has a proper prescription on file.
3. Your veterinarian may either:
    • Mail us the prescription
    • Call our pharmacy toll-free at 800-835-7451 (9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Eastern, M-F), or
    • Fax the prescription to our pharmacy at 330-830-2762 (24 hrs a day).

State Law prohibits the return of items purchased with a prescription.

Which credit cards do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Please have your credit card number, expiration date and security code (from the back of your card) handy when you order. If faxing or mailing your order, please clearly print your credit card number and expiration date, as well as including the cardholder's signature on the ORDER FORM. Please note, your "sold to" address must match your credit card billing address. Orders paid with credit card will be charged when your order is shipped. Can I pay via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)?

Electronic Funds Transfer allows you the opportunity to have funds electronically withdrawn from your bank account based on your purchases. Do you have a program for repeated scheduled purchases?

Yes. The Auto Ship Program is a time saving tool for customers who would like repeated scheduled purchases. Tell us WHAT products you want shipped on a regular basis, HOW MANY you want each time and WHEN you would like them shipped. (FYI: Your Auto Ship Program will remain in effect on that schedule until you change or cancel it.) Are there any State Exclusions?

Unfortunately, yes. Some products are not available for sale to some states. If a product cannot be sold in your state, an indication will be displayed on the product page or you will be notified when we receive your order.

Prescription service not available in California.

Due to state law, vaccines cannot be sold to residents of Rhode Island.
Due to state law, modified-live (avirulent or attenuated) vaccines for pets can only be sold to residents of Minnesota upon the prescription of a MN-licensed veterinarian.

Rhode Island residents must hold a Certificate of Need from the State Health Department or furnish a letter from a licensed veterinarian in order to purchase needles, syringes or vaccines packaged with needles and syringes.
