TapeCare Plus PasteFarnamContains 55.1% pyrantel pamoate for use in horses, ponies and foals for the removal and control of mature infections of large and small strongyles, pinworms, large roundworms and tapeworms. Foals 2-8 mos old should be dosed every 4 wks; horses and ponies over 8 mos old, every 6 wks. Treat mares 1 mo prior to anticipated foaling date and retreat 10-14 days after birth. Each syringe treats up to 1,200 lbs body wt for tapeworms; up to 2,400 lbs for strongyles, pinworms and roundworms. Red/black weight marks on syringe indicate dosage for tapeworm control or strongyles, pinworms and roundworms control.
