Scour Gard calf scours medicated milk replacer.
Medicated scour control formula contains 6.4 gm neomycin base and 6.4 gm oxytetracycline HCl per lb. Scour Guard is for use as an aid in the prevention and treatment of bacterial diarrhea in calves. Dosage – Prevention: mix 1/2 oz with 1 lb dry, non-medicated milk replacer. Reconstitute milk replacer with water as directed by manufacturer and feed in one or two feedings per day; Treatment: double preventative dose. Discontinue use 30 days prior to slaughter.
