Durvet Pen-Aqueous Injectable is indicated for the treatment of pneumonia and shipping fever in cattle and sheep, erysipelas in swine, and strangles in horses. PenAqueous Injectable contains 300,000 units of penicillin G procaine per ml. Dosage: Cattle/Horses/Swine/Sheep - 1 ml IM per 100 lbs body weight once daily. Continue treatment until recovery is apparent and for at least 1 day after symptoms disappear, usually in 2-3 days. Treatment should not exceed 7 days in non-lactating dairy cattle, beef cattle, sheep and swine; 5 days in lactating dairy cattle. Not more than 10 ml should be injected at any 1 site. Rotate injection sites for each treatment. 48 hour milk withholding. Slaughter withdrawal: Cattle - 4 days; Swine - 6 days; Sheep - 8 days; Non-ruminating calves - 7 days.
