Is your tired, old leather saddle craving new life? Give it a bit of Honey! Leather Honey is a premium, all-natural leather conditioner that helps rejuvenate and recondition older leather. Also protects new leather, making it softer and helping it last longer right from the start. Penetrates deep into leather’s pores and prolongs the life of saddles, tack, boots, gloves, furniture and more. Leaves leather feeling and looking beautiful as it softens, protects and promotes flexibility (even in cold weather!). Professional Percheron draft horse breeder, Jim McGowen, whose father developed the formula, sold it first as Harness Honey. Non-toxic, non-sticky, water repellent formula resists mildew, won’t rot stitching and won’t evaporate once absorbed into the leather. Just a little goes a long way – 2 oz for new work boots, 16 oz for a saddle. Does not contain solvents, silicone or wax. Won’t interfere with dyes or change color of dyed leather; may deepen brown of naturally tanned leather. Not recommended for suede, simulated leather or vinyl.
"After reading about Leather Honey, I knew I needed to try it and see if it really worked like it was advertised. I just purchased an Australian saddle a
couple of months ago and I brought it home to use Leather Honey on it. Not too much is needed to make it soft and pliable. What is truly amazing is to use
it on new leather…the results are immediate. Thank you for making a really great product."

Leather Honey is the best treatment I’ve used to date
"I’m an auctioneer specializing in horse and tack auctions. This gives me the chance to buy
and sell an enormous amount of used saddles and tack, most of which has been extremely neglected
and dried out for extended periods of time. Leather Honey restores dried leather and, most of the
time, after one day of double treatment. Here’s an example: Last week I bought a Billy Cook saddle
made in the late 60’s. It had been hanging in a barn since 1998 when the original owner had passed.
I took it home, washed it off with soap and water, treated it with a light coat of Leather Honey
and retreated it again 48 hours later. The saddle softened up and looks like it is 2 or 3 years old
and well oiled. The best part – I paid $72.50 and have already gotten an offer of $400. Kudos to
your product. It will be advertised at every auction I call at."

"I live in Texas, where it’s dry as bone, and my Stubben saddle is suffering from dehydration.
I’m always on the lookout for a good product to try on it, so I took a chance on Leather Honey.
I’m so glad I found it! Thanks again."

"Leather Honey is wonderful! I recently bought an Australian saddle on eBay. It was stored
in a barn for years, so the leather was really dried out and stiff. After a couple applications of
Leather Honey the leather is once again soft and supple. Thanks so much for a superb product!"

"We have done extensive testing of your product and it came through with flying colors. We are going
to include Leather Honey (Harness Honey) in our book, The Encyclopedia of Saddle Making.

"I became frustrated with all of the other leather products that were available at my local tack
shops and went online in search of an alternative. I discovered some personal reviews of Leather
Honey on the website Chronicle of the Horse - and then googled the name and read reviews on Amazon
(yes, I do my homework). I have used Leather Honey on my bridle, saddle and boots and really love it!
My friends in the barn are all curious about Leather Honey…"

"A friend recommended Leather Honey to me at a horse show and I've been using it on my saddles and
other equestrian equipment. I will definitely spread the word as Leather Honey has already worked
wonders on my saddle!"

“I have 7 barrel horses that I enter into parades, use at kids’ birthday parties and fundraisers
for my granddaughter’s class. Most of the saddles we purchased at swap meets for under $50 and
some of them were in pretty bad shape. The Leather Honey has been the best for restoring them to
‘rideable’ quality. Beats the heck out of the Neatsfoot oil.”

"Hi, my name is Bob Grove, owner and operator of Bob Grove Saddle Works ("The Saddle Doctor"). I have
been making, repairing and restoring saddles and related leather goods for the past 47 plus years.
Approximately 2 or 3 years ago I purchased a half gallon of Harness Honey from you per request of
a very good friend and client. Due to medical reasons I shut down my shop for several years and
last year I had both of my knees replaced and I reopened my shop this past Oct. 2009. I have not
had an opportunity to use or test your product until this year. It is by far the best product we
have ever experienced to include Pecard. I receive a lot of Western Show saddles, light and natural
in color, to clean, oil and repair. We have always had to be extra careful when cleaning and oiling
these saddles not to make this leather darker. Harness Honey was an answer to prayers. If the
Harness Honey darkens the leather it is not noticeable. The customers always make great comments
on how the leather feels and looks. We are now preparing to stop using Neatsfoot Oil all together.
In our saddle cleaning description we now include that we use Harness Honey and not Neastfoot Oil.
We use it on all our leathers, new and old with a 100%+ satisfaction. It is unbelievable how far
this product goes…a half gallon goes a long ways. That too is a money saver. I thank you for
this product. We just used it on a 1952, black Parade saddle restoration after other products were
failing. We were successful on most of the saddle except the fenders. I advised the owner that we
may have to replace the fenders with new fenders, tooling and trim to match. Note: for safety
reasons we did replace the stirrup leathers with new leather. I told my shop hand to get out the
Harness Honey and we applied it to the fenders and the next morning the evidence was there. The
fenders were responding and we knew we did not have to make new fenders. Several more
applications and the fenders were like new. NOW THAT IS AMAZING and it made me, 'The Saddle Doctor'
look good. I am still smiling."
"I have been conditioning leather for almost sixty years, and yes, (Leather Honey) is the best I
have ever used. It sure is as you have advertised."

"After much hard love, my favorite boots were on their last leg, or so I thought! I applied a
coat of Leather Honey and the difference was incredible. It was easy to apply, they look amazing
and feel even better! My boots are back on my feet, better than ever. This was a much more
economical choice than having to buy another pair."

"…I just can't believe how great this stuff really is. We have a den with a leather Chesterfield
sofa, loveseat and wingback chair with ottoman. After sixteen years this aniline dyed leather had
become chalky (powdery looking) in the most worn areas with white cracks throughout…I didn't know
that the leather was craving a drink of Honey!"
