Durvet Duramycin 324 Soluble Powder antibiotic for livestock.
Broad-spectrum soluble powder for the control and treatment of bacterial enteritis caused by E. coli and bacterial pneumonia caused by Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella spp. and Klebsiella spp. in calves and swine. Also indicated for control of chronic respiratory disease and air sac disease, infectious synovitis and bluecomb in poultry. Each lb contains 343 gm tetracycline HCl. Dosage: Calves/Swine - 10 mg per lb body weight daily in divided doses, mix in drinking water; Baby calves/pigs - Administer 1 hour before or 2 hours after feeding milk or milk replacer. Administer for 3-5 days; do not use more than 5 consecutive days. Use as sole source of tetracycline. Do not use in veal calves. Slaughter withdrawal: Calves - 5 days; Swine - 4 days. See label for poultry dosage. Do not use in poultry producing eggs for human consumption. Do not use for more than 14 consecutive days. 4 day slaughter withdrawal.
