Bovi-Shield GOLD FP 5 L5 HB from Pfizer - Modified-live virus and bacterin combination for vaccination of healthy cows and heifers prior to breeding to prevent persistently infected calves caused by BVD Types 1 and 2; and as an aid in preventing abortion caused by IBR; respiratory disease caused by IBR, BVD Types 1 and 2, PI3, BRSV; BVD Type 2 testicular infection; and disease caused by the 5 most common strains of Lepto, including L. hardjo. Bovi Shield GOLD FP 5 L5 HB prevents establishment of L. hardjo in the kidney for at least 12 mos; aids in preventing infection of the fetus; and has 12-month DOI against IBR-induced abortion and persistently infected calves caused by BVD Types 1 and 2. Dosage: 2 ml IM or subcut to all breeding cows and heifers about 1 month prior to breeding or being added to herd. Revaccinate with Spirovac L5 in 4-6 weeks. Revaccinate annually. We carefully pack your vaccines with frozen cold packs to preserve their effectiveness. If your cold pack is thawed when you receive it, don't be alarmed, this is normal. Simply refrigerate your vaccines as soon as they arrive. Vaccines and other items requiring refrigeration are non-returnable.
Due to state law, vaccines cannot be sold to
residents of Rhode Island.
Due to state law, modified-live (avirulent or attenuated)
vaccines for pets can only be sold to residents
of Minnesota upon the prescription of a MN-licensed veterinarian.
Rhode Island residents must hold a Certificate of Need

Pfizer Risk-free Protection and Performance GuaranteePfizer Animal Health will guarantee 100 percent of calves born to be BVD PI-free provided that all cows and heifers have been vaccinated according to label directions at least 30 days prebreeding with Bovi-Shield GOLD FP, Bovi-Shield GOLD HB, PregGuard GOLD FP or CattleMaster GOLD FP vaccines. In addition, Pfizer Animal Health will guarantee herds to be free of IBR abortions if cows and heifers were vaccinated according to label directions at least 30 days prebreeding with the Pfizer Animal Health family of FP vaccines.
