AmproMed for Calves coccidiosis treatment.
Indicated as an aid in the treatment and prevention of coccidiosis in beef and dairy calves caused by Eimeria bovis and E. zuernii. Ampro Med contains 220 mg amprolium per gm. As a drench: Prevention - add 1.5 oz to 1 quart water and administer 1 oz solution per 100 lbs body weight daily for 21 days; Treatment - add 3 oz to 1 quart water and administer 1 oz solution per 100 lbs body weight daily for 5 days. In drinking water: Prevention - add one 10 oz pack to 250 gallons drinking water, offer solution as sole source of drinking water for 21 days; Treatment - add one 10 oz pack to 125 gallons drinking water, offer as sole source of drinking water for 5 days. 24 hour slaughter withdrawal. Do not use in veal calves. 10 oz treats 25 - 100 lb calves on 5-day treatment schedule.
