MASSILLON PBS ANIMAL HEALTH STORE TO HOST AMAZING ANIMALS EVENT SATURDAY, AUGUST 24, 2002
The new PBS Animal Health Store, located at 2480 Richville Drive S.E., Massillon, Ohio will host an Amazing Animals Event on Saturday, August 24 at 10 am. The event will include pet talent and beauty competitions, pet adoptions, exotic animal education, face painting, food, refreshments, door prize drawings and more.
The pet talent and beauty competition will be judged and prizes will be awarded to winning participants. Participants may register for the event at the PBS Animal Health Store at 2480 Richville Drive, Massillon or may call 330-834-9252 for more details. There is a $3 registration fee (at time of sign-up) per pet owner. There is no limit on how many categories a pet can be registered for. Pet owners may bring as many pets as they like. In return for the $3 fee, participants will receive a $5 PBS Animal Health Coupon, as well as a complimentary free gift. Categories include: Most Talented Pet, Doubletake (Owner/Pet Look Alike), Waggiest Tail, Big Foot, Fluffiest Pet, Smallest Pet and more. Registration sheets are available August 1, 2002.
Also on Saturday, pets will be available for adoption (from local adoptive/rescue organizations), exotic animals on display for education and awareness, face painting, food, refreshments, door prize drawings and more!
Throughout the Amazing Animals Event, pet owners are responsible for their pet(s) at all times and will be required to maintain them on a leash while on PBS Animal Health property. Pets are required to have up-to-date vaccines to participate.
The Amazing Animals event is the culmination of a week long Grand Opening Celebration which starts Monday, August 19 and runs through Saturday, August 24, 2002. Special extended hours for the GRAND OPENING week are Monday through Friday, 9am-8pm, Saturday 8am-6pm.
PBS Animal Health moved to its new Richville Drive location in December 2001. The new 5,200 sq ft store specializes in health products for animals of all kinds--dogs, cats, horses, cattle, swine, sheep, goats, poultry, llamas, rabbits, and wild birds. The store product line includes vaccines, dewormers, supplements, instruments, feed additives, implants, ear tags, breeding supplies, pest & insect control and show supplies to farm supplies, tack, pet supplies, clothing, boots, books and gifts.

Convenient drive-up loading docks are easily accessible for easy animal feed or pet food pick-up.
Throughout the Grand Opening Week Celebration, store customers will benefit from great in-store deals, "Christmas in August" gift display and specials, opportunities to qualify for fantastic door prize drawings (to be held Saturday), product promotions and the opportunity to talk with a variety of product manufacturer representatives.
